CRT Building Products has been manufacturing building materials in Canberra since 1964 so 2014 marked our 50th anniversary. Over this time CRT Building Products has developed the reputation of being Canberra’s leading supplier of timber wall frames and roof trusses to the building industry throughout the ACT and surrounding region.
A purpose built facility located in Mitchell ACT, with over 10,000m2 of floor space was completed in 1990 and has been fitted out with the latest state of the art machinery for a more rapid, precise production of roof trusses, wall frames and floor systems. More recently we have installed the latest in roll forming technology from Aus Steel to become the only manufacturer of Steel frames in the ACT.
To complement the business CRT Building Products became a member of the national Steeline member-owned steel buying group. This enables us, trading as Steeline Canberra, to source and manufacture our extensive range of steel building and roofing products at competitive prices.
CRT/ Steeline Canberra now offers a wide range of metal roofing products from Colorbond® Fascia and Gutter, Colorbond® roofing, flashings and accessories. Employing over 50 local staff CRT Building Products has complete control over every step of its production process from Initial consultation with the client to review their plans, to the delivery of their custom built order on site, and after sales service.
The continued updating and investment in the company through additional high technology machinery has seen the company not only continue to service its existing market but also develop into the wider regional areas such as Sydney/ NSW Southern highlands, the Riverina, and the NSW South Coast. CRT Building Products and Steeline Canberra pride ourselves on our attention to detail, customer service and product quality.
