SME sized structural steel fabricator with established warehouse in Beaudesert. They have been in business for over 14 years and serving commercial projects around Brisbane and SEQ regions. Fabrication of structural steel components for commercial structures then erecting projects across SEQ.

About the role

Ensure that every project is erected safely and has been coordinated with KPI’s being achieved according to budgets and scope of work. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are successfully erected with QA, variations and client welfare positively managed. It is expected this will be done by proactively engaging with the builder, riggers, site coordinators detailer and staff (both office and site based) to ensure a successful outcome for each project.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor / Manager
Strong experience of Building Construction and Structural Steel erection and metal works.
Strong ability to manage site-based staff and project deliverables
Ability to understand drawings, variation paperwork, budgets etc.
Strong communication abilities with builders, staff, clients and project stakeholders
Advantage: Rigging understanding
Advantage: Boilermaker / Welding or Structural Steel Fabrication understanding
