Roles and Responsibilities
- Primary Skill(Must) – Workday HCM (Modules – Core HR, Absence, Recruitment & Onboarding, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Time & labour, Payroll, Payroll Interface, security, Corner-Stone (LMS), Workforce Planning)
- Test Management tool – HP ALM, JIRA
- Nice to have – Automation knowledge (KAINOS)
- Additional skills – Good communication & client facing ability
- Years of experience – 4 years
- Should have 4 to 7 years experience in Workday HCM testing
- Strong Functional testing knowledge in Workday HCM modules.
- Should have experience in Functional testing, System testing, System integration testing, regression testing for Workday HCM modules and strong experience in test design & execution
- Experience in middleware and interface testing is preferable.
- Should be hands on in test management tools like HP ALM and JIRA
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a self-learner and able to undertake main duties with minimum supervision - for A level. Expertise in Testing methodologies
- Good presentation skills, problem-solving ability & client-facing skills
- Automation testing knowledge in KAINOS (optional)
- Leads/coordinates testing activities in RE (resource enablement), facilitates all communications from RE test team perspectives to stakeholders (both – business & vendor) to ensure testing activities are completed within timing constraints and any blockers are resolved
- Undertakes test planning activities using business requirements/design docs,
- Assists team in test execution and other coordination activities
- Chairs defect triages and ensure all defects are up to date, for timely resolution
- Assists manager in TSR (test summary report) prep work and other Adhoc duties
- Develop Test Cases as per Business Process User Stories in JIRA
- Liaise with Business Change Management Lead, Sponsor/Stakeholders, Product and Group Owners and Chapter Leads
- Expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and upskilling for new integrated application - Workday Adaptive Planning (WAP) Module.
