About the role

Our client is looking for a Senior WHS leader to join their fantastic organisation within the Hospital sector. This strategic role requires a candidate who is energetic and ready to join a new leadership team. The role will be based in Sydney CBD and requires planned travel to different facilities in regional locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Health & Safety strategy and execution for a number of sites across the region
  • Reporting into the State General Manager, but working closely with the central and local safety resources. This person will link the local to the national team.
  • Working strategically with the leadership - Helping to create a new framework and 3 year strategy for WHS
  • Building strong relationships to influence
  • Provide a steadying hand in uncertain times and the experience to support the team

About you

  • Previous experience within a safety management or senior safety leader role within the hospital or health care industries is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Must have strategic experience across the a similar business
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills used to achieve positive safety outcomes
  • Diploma or above in OHS or similar, with ICAM/Lead Audit highly regarded
