Training and Development Coordinator * Newly created role * Large well known brand About Our Client Our Client is Australia's leading supplier of flat glass building products. Its capabilities and processes include toughening, laminating, insulated glass units, digital glass printing and advanced edge-work and CNC processing. Job Description * Conducts annual training and development needs assessment. * In conjunction with Production Coordinators the Training and development coordinator will develop a skills matrix for all factory staff, ensuring that plans are put in place to bridge gaps in training. * Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments * On request form a production supervisor provide assessment of staff members ability to perform tasks listed in level assessment guide. * Assess staff members competency of following and understanding SOP's * Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. * Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and Ensuring strategic alignment of the training department with business goals * Evaluating individual and organisational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance * Develop and manage process for frequent performance and skill appraisals on all production staff in conjunction with shift coordinators * Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with Supervisors/ Managers * Develop in conjunction with stake holders Standard operating procedures for all factory processes.
