An independently owned hardware store is looking for a trade counter sales person to join the team. The company is a well respected company and the customers that support this local business are builders, businesses and DIY handymen.
We are looking for someone who has had previous experience working in hardware and/or retail and is looking for that next step in their career.
The duties will be;
- Customer service on trade counter
- Providing advice on materials
- Stock control - receiving
- Completing stock reports
- Process orders using POS System
- Able to help in yard when required
- Assisting with deliveries as required
The person must have the following;
- Hardware knowledge and experience
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to be able to speak to different people from builders, to home handymen, to staff.
- Common sense
- Manual driver's licence for delivery vehicle is preferred
