Your new company
This NDIS registered disability support provider, with over 30 years’ experience in providing community, social, recreational and at home support to individuals with disabilities need Team Leader to join their team on a temporary basis with ongoing potential.

Your new role
An employee at this level plans, co-ordinates, implements and administer the activities and policies including preparation of budget for their area of responsibility. An employee at this level is also expected to effectively supervise and support the team to ensure delivery of the service objectives by providing essential skills, knowledge and support to the team and perform a consultative role to staff in relation to participants with high and complex needs. The Team Leader is responsible for delivering a high quality of service that is valued by families and enhancing Service reputation within the community. The Team Leader manages all operational and business activities within the Service to deliver on Service goals and KPI’s.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will need to have demonstrated the following:

  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood/ Special Education) or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent.
  • Approved working with children clearance as per state requirements.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • National Police Check
  • 3+ years of management / leadership experience, preferably within sector.
  • Passionate belief in the Children Service, development and education of children.
  • Strong ethics and genuine approach towards child safety and WHS.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated P&L accountability.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and resilience and is able to respond positively to change.
  • Leadership and management skills – ability to lead and maintain dynamic teams who achieve effective results.
  • Strong problem solving and processing skills.
  • Ability to maintain and monitor budgetary requirements.
  • Engaging with and responding to needs to individuals and community.
  • Ability to work in a team.
