An industry leader in the supply and assembly of high-quality process control and industrial automation equipment, they have built a large customer base on the back of their products and service. Their products range across a wide range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Pulp & Paper, Water & Wastewater and Power Generation. Due to an increase in projects an opportunity exists for a Store Person to join the team.
Your new role
This will be a varied role; you will operate the forklift to complete receipt and dispatch of materials along with packing. The product that is delivered to remote sites can be large but with parts that require extra care. A lot of your week will see you preparing large pieces of machinery, this will include use of ladders and some bending to cover the parts in plastic wrapping so it arrives in good condition.
You will also complete checks of parts to be sent to site and complete the necessary paperwork, there will be some computer use in the role.
What you'll need to succeed
- Forklift License
- Stores experience
- Computer skills (not advanced but able to operate)
