Server / Network Administrator

The Fujitsu team based at HQJOC is seeking a Server / Network Administrator to provide network maintenance and support services at HQJOC clients and operations on a 24x7x365 basis.

On a day-today basis, you will provide Level 1 to Level 3 server administration support. Your exceptional customer service skills will assist in troubleshooting for users via phone call, email and face-to-face and provide onsite assistance with hardware and software related issues. Your understanding of networks will help you in monitoring & supporting the secured networks as well as standalone environments.

This role will give you the opportunity to learn & progress your career in the secured Federal Government space.

Building your own path to success:

  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge in three or more of the following areas:
    • Physical Server Hardware (IBM, HP, DELL)and / or Blade Server Hardware(IBM, HP)
    • NetApp Filer Storage Devices
    • Tape Library Hardware
    • Network Switches, Routers, VLAN’s
    • Patching with various fibre types
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the rollout of new server hardware and other releases of server-based software including the performance of acceptance testing.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in an ITIL based environment with an understanding of principles and practices associated with Incident and Service Request fulfilment.
