Your new role
As a Water and Sewerage Engineer, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will also provide input into water and sewerage modelling projects and be able investigate and prepare technical reports. Alongside, directing inspections and site visits, you will build a water infrastructure team within the region and conduct team mentoring for junior staff. You will deliver on several water and sewerage infrastructure design projects including water and sewerage pump station, trunk pipelines and reticulation. The detailed design and management of these projects will be for both private sector and local government clients.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful within this role you must be a tertiary qualified Civil or Mechanical Engineer and be RPEQ certified. The candidate must also have experience working with WSAA and local government design standards. Alongside:

• Significant experience within water and sewerage engineering
• Extensive technical knowledge in water infrastructure projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be engaging
• Proven track record in managing and overseeing technical teams
• A high level of computer skills (Word, Excel and MS Project)
• Innovative problem-solving skills
