Trade Certification – Mechanical
Heavy Diesel desirable/ tertiary qualification (Certificate /Graduate Diploma in Maintenance Management) desirable;
VOC and High Risk Ticket for material handling equipment.
Proficient with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ERP.
Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Data Sourcing and Manipulation and KPI report writing/ development.
Analytical and technical.
Proficient with budgeting activities and financial reporting systems.
Extensive knowledge of large and ancillary mining equipment.
Competent with the timing and resource provision planning and scheduling functions of industry standard asset maintenance shutdown principles in a mining environment.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Asset Management principles and standards.
Knowledge of HSEQT legislative requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Robust team leadership and customer service qualities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for the efficient and accurate generation of Long Term maintenance activity plans and schedules achieving:
Compliance with the Maintenance Work Management Procedure; specifically, section 9, Shutdown Maintenance Work Management.
Establishing pertinent and achievable timelines for each plan and schedule program for each asset.
Constructive communication with Perth and project Maintenance Leadership, Stores and Logistics Personnel where required.
Successful communications and appropriate relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other goods and resource suppliers.
Asset availability minimising downtime and costs facilitating maximum production compliant to project objectives.
Compliance with OEM procedures and Asset Management Framework.
Compliance with the HSEQT Framework.
Compliance with maintenance principles, schedules, quality and time; delay escalation.
Liaison with OEM’s, Plant Engineers and Maintenance/ Operations Managers where required.
Accountable for planning and scheduling meetings.
Responsible for sourcing all resources Purchasing Requisitions generation.
Accountable for compliant interaction with all stakeholders for:
Shutdown/ maintenance planning, schedule, execution, completion review.
Components, parts, labour and other related resource supply.
Clear communications and reporting.
Responsible for accurate data input and integrity.
Responsible for CMMS maintenance and accuracy.
Responsible for monitor and review of compliance to plan.
Accountable for post review of shutdown/ maintenance activity success achieving continual improvement and support to the long term planning functions.
Accountable for KPI Report development where required.
Accountable for maintaining compliance with the appropriate vehicle licenses, high risk tickets and the like.
Accountable for any other reasonable instructions from direct manager.
In no particular order and not limited to:
Maintain the timelines.
Provision of OEM operations, technical, maintenance manuals and other supplementary publications.
Monitor goods and resource purchase orders.
Receipt and pack components and goods.
Create sequence plans for upcoming shutdowns.
Conduct pre and post shutdown meetings.
The successful candidate will have:
5 to 10 years’ maintenance planning in a mining environment.
Demonstrated experience successfully building business relationships and coordinating multiple trade disciplines.
Experience and ability to manage medium to large sized shutdown projects and logistical challenges.
Experience and ability to manage groups of personnel.
