We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Air Quality Modeller to join our environmental team in either Newcastle or Sydney. As a senior member of our team, you will be internally and externally visible as an air quality expert that provides strategic guidance and quality control review of technical documents, keeping up to date on new air quality regulatory developments, marketing to AECOM key clients, identifying new clients and air quality opportunities, execute strategies to achieve growth in the air quality practice, collaborate with other AECOM staff to execute work and improve client relationships, team building and senior leadership of projects involving air quality-related permitting and compliance services.

You will successfully manage projects while meeting cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with clients, project team members, and AECOM account managers and market sector leaders and will support the professional development and growth of our air quality staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as environmental science, engineering, chemical engineering, atmospheric science, meteorology, physics, chemistry

  • Strong experience in a consultancy environment, specifically in air quality permitting.
