This is an excellent opportunity for a Salesforce Platform Architect to join nbn™ IT at a transformative point in our journey where you will be part of the team accountable for architecting solutions, providing stability and governance on Salesforce, a key strategic platform.
As part of the Salesforce System Team, the Salesforce Platform Architect will play a key strategic leadership role in helping nbn™ realise its strategic intents and identify opportunities for technology and business innovation through technical direction across Salesforce initiatives. A key aspect of this role is to leverage partnerships with delivery, business and technology partners to design solution and define the Salesforce standards and patterns to be adopted across the organization in support of the overarching technology roadmap and strategies.
The role will involve working together with the system team to advise on a wide variety of areas, such as: implement solution architecture, design review, integration strategy, org strategy, security, compliance, mobile and web strategy, performance management, solution compatibility, environment and release management, master data management, fit/gap analysis of CRM capabilities, optimisation planning and best practice related to use of Salesforce.com and project guidance.
The Salesforce Platform Architect will have significant influence on the growth and success of 10+ Salesforce delivery teams across nbn. This is a great opportunity to develop as an architect and utilise a broad set of skills.
A bit about your role
Outlined below are the core duties that the Salesforce Platform Architect will be responsible for delivering:
- Design and manage architecture around Salesforce solution and integration strategy, ensuring standard and best-practices approaches are adopted and adhered to.
- Establish and continuously evolve on Salesforce design and development principles as well as best practices, improving quality and efficiency of development on the Salesforce platform.
- Establish, manage and run effective collaboration forums on Salesforce.
- Provide consulting to 10+ nbn Salesforce delivery teams, driving knowledge sharing and upskilling throughout.
- Develop strong client relations with multiple delivery teams across nbn, ensuring efficient and transparent communication across the board.
- Work with the system team on implementation and evolution of release and environment management, utilising effective automation to reduce release cycle times and levels of manual work.
- Identify and manage risks around platform health as the platform evolves.
A bit about you
The Salesforce Platform Architect is a highly seasoned senior resource who has led multiple projects through the Software design and development process and possesses a strong track record with complex Salesforce implementations.
You will be capable of building and applying standard methodologies, advising around Salesforce architecture, delivery governance, change management and application lifecycle management whilst also driving the growth of the Salesforce practice by providing expertise, consulting and robust patterns and frameworks.
Furthermore, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills; experienced at sharing and communicating ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources, alongside displaying an ability effectively mentor, coach and influence diverse teams internal and partner personnel.
