The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Maintenance Manager to be a part of the Customer Service Directorate. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager - Station Buildings, this position plays a key role in managing the delivery of key maintenance works to stations across Sydney Trains’ North West Region.

Along with day-to-day management of 5 direct reports, in this role you will plan and manage major periodic maintenance works, regularly report on the progress of existing projects, effectively manage service providers to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with budget expectations and manage a significant budget.

About You
To be successful, you will have well developed interpersonal skills and will enjoy collaborating with a large and complex network of staff and customers. You will have strong financial and budget management experience along with extensive project management experience – ideally in a facilities maintenance or asset management environment.

Please note: that it is a requirement of this role to provide 24/7 on-call and emergency response support. A current driver’s licence is essential for all applicants. This role will see you working in a variety of locations across the Sydney Trains network but will be based out of Granville. Successful candidate will need to undertake background checks and criminal record checks.

Essential requirements

  • Current drivers licence
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent experience in a building related discipline, project management, facilities maintenance or asset management discipline.
