Rail Project Manager-Client Side Consultancy

My client is an outstanding Client Side Project Management and Advisory Consultancy that provides infrastructure services to Victorian rail clients and operators. Providing project management, development, technical advice, constructibility and engineering management.

Their business operates across all social sectors, education, health, housing etc, however this focus is rail and transport.

Their upper management, directors and owners are second to none in regards to experience, with a wealth of knowledge and contacts across the Victorian Infrastructure industry. With contacts and relationships with all the major rail and road organisations, this is an opportunity to work and learn from some of the best.

Although still boutique in size, 60 in Melbourne, their upper executive board has the knowledge and relationships of a global business. The rail team is smaller in size and looking to grow emphatically over the next few years.

Your new role

You will be working under an experienced Executive Director or Associate Director, and servicing a number of different clients across various rail projects, assisting clients, operators or contractors. You will be a consultant PM and using your construction knowledge to provide consulting services.

What you'll need to succeed
All candidates will be degree qualified in engineering and have 4- 10 years experience working for ideally a PM consultancy, Engineering firm, major operator, Tier 1 contractor.
Rail project experience
Experience in delivery, design, project management, construction project management, PMO experience, feasibility studies, writing business cases, producing constructibility reports
A recognised Victorian organisation.
Understand the rail industry, exposure to operators and contractors.
Procurement of consultants services
Project experience $30m+
Communication and writing skills, and stakeholder interaction must be second to none as the role will be heavily client facing.
