Do you have excellent stakeholder engagement skills to manage, lead and negotiate while maintaining strategic goals?
This is an amazing opportunity for a seasoned government professional to work with a large cross section of professionals up to the Cabinet.
You're an experienced Project Director with a government background/knowledge to work on a large IT business transformation (infrastructure & digital).
With strong strategic mindset and the ability to build strong relationships to ensure buy-in internally/externally.
You'll understand the complexities and transitions needed for this agile risk-based movement.
They're a NSW Government organisation that is undergoing significant change as they move towards a more customer centric, agile way of working.
Aware of the changes that need to be made to their organisation to become up to speed with technology, they are a great brand to have on your CV.
The Project Director will lead the complex strategic business transformation while ensuring the new IT system integrates with the business, users whilst ensuring the customer is at the core.
You'll be accountable for the portfolio-wide buy in and commitment of resources for the successful delivery and will be managing internal and external stakeholders (100+ entities).
This is a major transformation with whole of government implications.
Skills / Experience / Responsibilities:
- Proven experience leading a successful IT Business Transformation
- Prior experience working in NSW Government - preferred
- Working with very senior executives up to ministerial/cabinet
- Ability to develop and implement IT infrastructure strategy & governance
- Prior experience doing economic and financial appraisals
