Project Manager

Job Requirements:

• Eligibility: Candidates must be Australian citizens
• Location : Canberra only
• Contract: 12 months with possible extension

About the Role:

Our client is currently finalising its 2022-26 ICT strategy, and need a Project Manager who will be able to help deliver key projects to modernise its systems and mobile apps.

The modernisation includes a cloud migration including application, data and infrastructure projects.

Projects are delivered in line with the PRINCE2 project management methodology and Agile when delivering enhancements to bespoke software, mobile apps and release development.

Experience and Abilities:

• Strong project management via PRINCE2 or equivalent
• Delivering ICT projects into government environments
• Leading project teams through planning to implementation
• Conducting government procurement processes
• Stakeholder engagement - technical and non-technical
• Providing strategic support - business and technology
• Drive continuous improvement
