Take a look here what it's like to work atTyro As a Principal Engineer you will own and drive the evolution of our web application. We employ Agile methods, and you'll work in a collaborative team. As a key member of the development team, you will work closely with engineers, architects, product, design and other stakeholders to define and execute on our design solutions. What you'll do Own and drive the evolution of our web application in collaboration with otherengineers Communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders, managers and technology partners to provide updates, insights, recommendations and design solutions Build the technical skill and effectiveness of the development teamby understanding and actively promoting TyroEngineering and Architectural principles Provide technicalleadership within the team including (technical vision, push boundaries, questioning the norms, take risks to achieve innovation, improve on existing code) Focus on and balance the needs of the customer, your team(s) and the Tyro business. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and lots of it Contribute through the whole delivery life cycle, from inception to production, through to planning, development and testing, contributing at every stage Live a real agile experience and being in control of your fate: contributing to the continuous improvement of the team Translate your technical skills to influence other developers, product managers and senior managers to ensure the team understands our vision. What you'll need Great experience with standard web technologies, Javascript (ReactJS, NodeJS) Solid experience across the board with a strong depth of back-end knowledge Experience with building services and APIs Experience with micro front-end and micro BFF architecture Experience with agile software development methodologies Experience with infrastructure as code and continuous delivery Understanding of good architecture, basing decisions on value rather than practice A collaborative approach to working together with otherengineers, product managers and UX designers.
