Practice Nurse Div 2 Full Time or Part Time

Kings Park Medical Centre-Hillside is looking for a Div 2 Nurse FT/PT who is willing to have flexible working schedule, has a friendly and engaging personality, willingness to go an extra mile, honest, team player, loyal to the practice, passionate about preventative care and has genuine care for patients.

Kings Park Medical Centre is a doctors owned practice in Melbourne's West, in the peaceful suburb of Hillside. We are committed to providing the community with an outstanding standard of medical care, going above and beyond the typical expectation of general practice.

Our clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm. We are also open on some public holidays.

Practice Nurse task include but not limited to:

  • Immunisations
  • Wound care
  • Triage assessment
  • Chronic disease management
  • Health assessment
  • Identify patients for medication reviews
  • Mental health
  • Infection control
  • Maintaining stock levels, cold chain monitoring, OHS compliance
  • If needed, perform receptionist tasks such as receiving patient and phone calls, scheduling appointments, billing with medical software.

Essential Features of the successful candidate:

  • Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • People skills; patient-focused approach in service provision
  • Ability to work in a team or independently
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good work ethic
  • Problem solver
  • Previous practice nurse experience
  • Competence in the use of relevant equipment & software (Pracsoft & Medical Director); computer literacy (Intermediate/Advance knowledge of MS Word & Excel)
