This is a great opportunity to apply your clinical experience, knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of podiatry services appropriate to the rural and remote context across the Yorke Lower North, Port Pirie, Mid North, Southern Flinders & Port Broughton, Flinders and Outback regions. You will provide podiatry services in clinical areas utilising a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Working as part of multidisciplinary team ensuring coordination and continuity of clinical services, you will provide training and support to other staff to assist in capacity building for basic foot care requirements in the community. If appointed at the AHP2 level you will also provide clinical support to less experienced professional staff in the Yorke & Lower North Community Health, including students on placement.
You must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be registered with AHPRA, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self- regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations’ accredited continuous professional development program.
