The Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response aircraft and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). This includes the new P-8A Poseidon aircraft fleet. We are also the sustainment managers for the P-3 (EW) aircraft fleet and the Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) that is used on all air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army.
In the near future we will support the Triton, an unmanned high altitude long endurance aircraft. As a Contract Manager at SRSPO you will have the opportunity to diversify your experience across sustainment and acquisition activities and a range of aviation capabilities. We are seeking a very capable Contract Manager with strong stakeholder engagement skills to join a team which directly supports the sustainment of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft fleet (P-8). The P-8 is sustained through a Cooperative Program arrangement with the US Navy and commercial arrangements with Australian Industry for the provision of local sustainment services.
In this role you will be responsible for a providing a range of contract management functions to ensure the performance of the P-8 In-service Support Contract (ISSC). You may also perform procurement and budget management activities related to the US Navy’s provision of P-8 sustainment services to Australia. In the near future the position will be responsible for managing the ISSC’s successor, the P-8 through Life Support Contract. You will also assist SRSPO’s Commercial specialist to implement and manage SRSPO’s commercial strategies and governance framework.
