Contracting opportunities available across regional Victoria:

  • South West Victoria (i.e. Geelong, Colac, Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton)
  • Western Victoria (i.e. Ballarat, Ararat, Stawell, Horsham)
  • North Western Victoria (i.e. Bendigo, Kyneton, Castlemaine, Maryborough, Echuca, Swan Hill, Mildura)

About these contracting opportunities

Due to an increase in demand for OHS training and consulting services from our members and clients across Victoria, VCCI is seeking expressions of interest from accomplished individuals to deliver high quality, commercially competitive OHS training & consulting services to Victorian businesses, on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has up-to-date knowledge of relevant Legislation, Standards and Industry Practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of industries across Victoria.

Interested candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A proven track record of achievement in the OHS field;
  • A clear customer focus with excellent presentation and networking skills;
  • Experience and competency as an OHS trainer;
  • Experience in the provision of OHS consulting services for business; and
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

In addition, interested candidates should send in a cover letter and resume that demonstrates how they meet the following key selection criteria:

  • Minimum degree level qualifications in OHS or a related area
  • Completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is desirable;
  • Certified generalist OHS professional (CGOHSP) or equivalent Occupational Hygiene or Ergonomics and Human Factors Society membership is desirable;
  • Demonstrated experience providing HSW consulting services to industry;
  • Broad knowledge of HSW and Workers’ Compensation legislation;
