This national business has their head office located in the northern suburbs close to the Brisbane Airport and has been operating for over 20 years. They are a leading integrator of an exclusive range of high end electronic products, with a range of Tier 1 national accounts within the commercial, government and defence industry and have gained national recognition as a well-known and respected engineering solution specialist.

They are a 100% specification business focused on project sales within the above mentioned industries with the ability to provide full turnkey solutions regarding communications, infastructure, security and electronic warefare.

THE POSITION

Due to company growth, a highly-coveted position in the Account Management department has become available to take over handling high end tier 1 accounts involving a variety of bespoke projects, notably in the commercial & military industries.

Responsiblities include and not limited to:

  • Take responsibility of national tier 1 accounts
  • Account Management & Business Development position focused on identifing and capturing opportunities, followed by propose solutions to the mining, oil & gas and defence industries regarding telecommunications
  • Work within a tight-knit driven team on projects that make a difference
  • Win tenders on multi-million dollar projects & be the engine of the company
  • Growing existing accounts & bringing new ones on-board across the nation
  • Monthly & quarterly pipeline sales cycles
  • Working with flexibly & autonomously
  • Joining a highly motivated team in a fun 'work hard play hard' environment

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

  • Proven track record of technical sales of at least 3 years in the either the Industrial, Mining or Defence Industries
  • This has to be involving electronics, communications or military solutions in Tier 1 projects
  • Bids & tender experience
  • Ability to work engage key stakeholders and clients in a professional manner
  • High presentation, attention to detail, well-spoken and sales hunter mentality
