An opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Manager Community Engagement and Resilience. Your customer-first, can-do focus will help us raise the bar in the way we engage our community and allow our people to deliver a more innovative approach to services and community resilience and development. Reporting to the General Manager Place and Community, your input into the challenges facing all areas of East Gippsland Shire will be strongly valued.
The Manager Community Engagement and Resilience is accountable for the performance of a team of currently approximately 18 staff and a range of service functions including Community Programs, Community Planning and Place Managers (including support of bushfire impacted communities). The key focus areas for these teams include Bushfire Recovery and Community Resilience, Early Years, Active Aging, Disability Services, Youth Services, Indigenous engagement and community planning.
