Since 1972 The Mitolo Group has been growing and packaging potatoes and onions for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally.  We also supply our produce to the international market.  We are a dynamic and progressive company committed to producing high quality products through the implementation of continuous improvement strategies and new innovated processes.

As Afternoon Maintenance Electrician you will work within an experienced maintenance team performing repairs and preventative maintenance to our packing lines to ensure the efficient running of production. You will also perform tasks relating to continuous improvement projects.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager you will possess the following:

  • relevant industry trade and/or tertiary qualifications

  • A Class Electrical Licence (SA)

  • proven experience in reactive and preventative maintenance

  • sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response

  • Fault finding experience with PLCs'

  • familiarity with recording data on MEX or equivalent computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)

  • ability to work permanent afternoon shift (Some training on day shift will be required initially)

  • experience in a fresh food produce environment or similar

  • understanding of Lean Principle

  • the ability to work under strict WHS guidelines

  • the ability to trouble shoot and work proactively as part of a team

  • attention to detail to maintain plant to optimum performance

  • access to reliable transport
