  • $55 - $60 per hour + Super, depending on experience | 40 hours per week
  • NSW State Government | Eveleigh Location
  • ASAP Start | 9-month temporary assignment, potential to extend

Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education and training, connecting all stages from early childhood to tertiary courses and qualifications. Committed to preparing people with knowledge, skill and confidence to navigate and innovate within a rapidly changing world. They are currently seeking an experienced HR Project Officer to join their team in Eveleigh. This is an estimated 9-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend

Working within the Organisational Development Business Unit, you will be required to partner with branches to assist in the development, implementation of localised culture and engagement plans.

Your duties will include, however, will not be limited to the following;

  • Work collaboratively with the Recruitment Branding team to create recruitment video’s
  • Assist in developing innovative improvement strategies for hard to fill roles
  • Partner with universities to develop intern programs
  • Design, create and implement a program for Departmental staff to experience a ‘Day in the Life of Customers (schools)
  • Implement and drive reward and recognition programs
  • Develop initiatives to embed organisational values across the employment lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with Government policies and procedures

To secure this great assignment you will have the following;

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an equivalent field
  • Demonstrated experience in HR Organisational Culture
  • NSW State Government Sector experience desirable
  • Impeccable stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Thorough analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
