My client is an Australian-owned and well-established organisation, within the recycling and scrap metal industry. We have been engaged to support them in the recruitment of an experienced HR Coordinator. This Australian-owned business has been established well over 60 years and is a leader within its field

With their highly regarded reputation across Sydney, they have a geographic footprint stretching over 11,500km and a dedicated team of over 200 employees.

The Role

You will be joining a high-performing team of 4, supporting the Director and working in collaboration with the Admin, Payroll professionals and the soon-to-be HR Coordinator, you! This welcoming and down-to-earth office will provide you with the support to be successful and make you feel at home from day one.

This is a permanent position offering the right candidate the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and build a promising, stable career.

Day to Day

• Onboarding of new employees and overseeing the entire end-end recruitment process
• Conducting inductions
• Return to work coordination
• Weekly and monthly sick leave reporting
• ABA file management
• Responding to payroll enquiries
• Running the weekly payroll for up to 200 employees, using microPay

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A background in Human Resources
• Skilled in Microsoft Services - Word, Excel, etc.
• An understanding of payroll
• Valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate

Work Day

This role is Monday- Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, based in their Blacktown head office
