  • opportunity to travel interstate and internationally

13 mth APS6 program management role in South East suburbs. International/domestic travel, Mandarin essential

Your new company

This Federal Government organisation is responsible for conducting and leveraging scientific research to help boost Australia’s economy. It develops work programs between organisations and supporting relationships between regional representatives within Australia and internationally. The Global Partnership Advisor will contribute to a range of complimentary activities that align with the organisation’s global strategy.

Your new role

You will be responsible for supporting international academy programs with duties including the following;

  • Representing the organisation in international and domestic travel as required
  • Developing work plans and engaging with team members and other staff.
  • Managing the programs budget and contacts
  • Assisting with the organisation of six annual workshops
  • Managing priority relationships
  • Report on program outcomes to key stake holders at multiple levels of seniority to ensure the achievements of organisational objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced project officer, ideally with skills including the following:

  • Fluent in Mandarin verbally and written
  • End to end project and program management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Well-developed analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Willing and able to travel interstate and internationally
