Description
As a GIS Consultant - TSPV or NV2 you will be responsible for;
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide solution design to fit client requirements
- Provide technical guidance and advice to suit customer needs and queries
- Support the delivery of pre-sales activities
- Lead a team in small to medium scaled projects
- Liaise with the project services team to provide, technical solutions in presentations, meetings and customer visits
Profile
The successful GIS consultant will have;
- Bachelor degree in associated disciplines (Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing and/or Surveying);
- Previous exposure to delivering software and data solutions utilising Solution architecture design and definition
- Commercial exposure to Geodatabase design technologies such as
- Programming: JavaScript, Python, .NET, Java
- Services: XML, web services (REST/SOAP)
- Architectures: Understanding of multi-tier environments
- Enterprise: Understanding of enterprise architecture / integrations
- Database: MS SQL, Oracle, PostGres/GIS, Informix, HANA
- Ideally exposure to Esri ArcGIS desktop, Geo.e, Clarion, ENVI, GeoCortex, Maximo
