Job Summary

The infrastructure pipeline in south eastern Australia continues to grow, and AECOM is playing an influential role in the development and delivery of many of these key infrastructure programs and projects. This includes projects in the rail, roads, aviation, urban development, renewable energy and defence markets.

AECOM is seeking applications for many roles to grow our Civil Infrastructure team in Melbourne to support existing projects and pursue the exciting opportunities ahead.

Key roles include:

  • Highly experienced Tunnelling Engineer, with 25+ years’ experience on major transport infrastructure projects, in particular design and construction leadership roles on projects in urban settings.

  • Highly experienced Geotechnical Engineer, with 25+ years’ experience in consulting and on major transport infrastructure projects, in particular design and construction roles. Experience in roles on projects with major tunnels desirable.

  • Experienced Engineering Geologist, with 15+ years’ experience (preferably some experience in consulting), a strong knowledge of Victoria’s geology, and a strong appreciation of hydrogeology.

  • Geotechnical Engineers / Engineering Geologists with 3 to 10 years’ experience (preferably local and some in consulting), with a background in one or more of urban development / defence / health / education / energy settings. Eligibility for Baseline Defence Clearance as a minimum.

Minimum Requirements

You enjoy working in teams, and aspire to leadership roles based on your specialist knowledge as part of multi-disciplinary teams, or managing relevant projects outright. You enjoy being accountable for your work and influential in the project’s performance. You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations. You are positive, looking at challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
