Estimating Manager Role
Specializing across fit-out and refurbishment projects up to $10M - $15M and Construction projects in government, education, banking & finance, retail, hospitality, and health & aged care up to $20M in Sydney and NSW. There is plenty of variety on offer within the business with regards to project scope and client base, you will be tasked with leading estimation while managing your own workload, liaising with the client and internal team.
In this role:
Manage the tender process and documentation
Preparation of D&C projects
management of your team
Ongoing training and development of junior staff
Actively sourcing new business through your contacts within the industry
Proficient use in Buildsoft and CostX and/or other estimating software
Strong and effective communication skills with clients, stakeholders and internal staff
To be successful:
years of industry experience across fit-out, refurbishment and interiors construction, D&C exposure is a must.
Strong local market knowledge, contractors, clients etc.
QS or Estimating background with relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience within a leadership role, overseeing a team of estimators
Strong strategic planning, man-management, and business development skills
Understanding of Buildsoft and CostX software.
