Your new company
This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of an impressive, state of the art service working in either the toddler or preschool room. This 63 place Exceeding rated centre is underpinned by recognising children’s individual strengths and preferred way of learning. This impressive service incorporates open spaces for projects inspired by Reggio Emilia including an art atelier, as well as Montessori inspired areas which encourage children to develop confidence and independence.

The warm, passionate owners have a background in Education and a vision of establishing a high quality centre. The service is family owned and encourages a holistic approach to education providing both cooking and mandarin classes for children too.

Your new role
Due to growth the centre is now looking for two educators to join their established and welcoming team, with opportunities in both the toddler and preschool rooms. The successful candidate will use their passion and understanding of Early Years Education to lead an engaging age appropriate program, collaborating with the current staff in the rooms.

The toddler room caters for up to 14 children, with the 4-5 room catering for up to 20. You will have support from an experienced 2IC, Educational Leader as well as the Owner/Director. The centre has fantastic facilities and resources, as well as an impressive outdoor space allowing you to lead an engaging and creative program! The owner is more than happy for you to bring your passions and lead an area of strength if you so wish.

You will use your fantastic communication skills to form strong, positive relationships with staff and families alike. You be will responsible for ensuring the day to day operations of the room run smoothly and for creating a happy and nurturing classroom with the help of your team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Diploma in Childhood Studies or
  • ACECQA assessed Early Childhood Teacher degree
  • Passion for Early Years education
  • Desire to be apart of a forward thinking service
  • Ability to form excellent relationships with families and staff
