DIESEL MECHANICS, PANELBEATER/BODY REPAIR, AUTO ELECTRICIANS & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Bus Fleet company location (Region 6) looking for experienced Heavy
Diesel Mechanics for several Permanent positions for Inner West Sydney
Branches. Must have worked on Scanias, Mercedes, Volvos Trucks/Buses
as well as other models.
Our client is transport company have several positions first position is for:
*Operations Manager with transport or bus experience required Salary $110K+ Super & RDO’s.
Several permanent full time positions available, Immediate starts, for experienced qualified applicants in roles:
*Diesel Mechanics (bus or truck experience favourable)
*Panelbeater/body repair (bus or truck experience favourable)
*Auto Electricians (bus or truck experience favourable)
All trades positions salary of $70k+Super, penalty rates T1/2, Double and Triple time with rostered days off (RDO’s).
All trades must have recent police checks report of within last 2 months, trade certificates
* MVRIA LICENSE and HC or HR LICENSE
Responsible to the Workshop Manager/Supervisor for the
servicing and maintenance of the bus fleet also bus driving duties as required.
PRINCIPLES RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
Conduct routine servicing of bus fleets as required.
Completes unscheduled repairs and maintenance.
Attends breakdowns at different locations as required.
Completes bi-annual pre-inspections of all bus fleet for TF NSW.
Completes servicing of workshop equipment as required.
Carries out bus driving duties as required.
Any other duties as required.
Relevant Trade Certificate
Must have Australian Experience
5 years experience in trade
Be self motivated
Possession of current "Heavy Rigid" class vehicle license with "Hire and Reward" endorsement.
Must have MVRIA License
Must have White Card
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for their own safety and others for health and environmental issues and for ensuring that they do not adversely affect the safety and heath of other persons, or the environment workplace through any acts or omission.
Responsible for safety and environment policies, procedures and rules, wearing and/or using personal protective clothing or equipment, maintaining and caring for protective issued to him/her, reporting injuries and accidents promptly, correcting hazards and reporting those hazards which he/she cannot correct, co-operate with management on matters of safety and health.
Actively involved in all safety, health and environmental programs and activity.
Wear use protective work clothing and equipment as required by your position.
Maintain/care for personal clothing or work equipment.
Report personal injuries and accidents promptly to senior management/supervisor.
Correct hazards, and report which he/she cant correct.
Cooperate with management in matters of safety, heath and environmental issues.
Must be fully licensed and must be experience with current employment references. Must have own transport as public transport is difficult to access.
