Driver & Branch Support Officer
KEY POINTS WE FOUND
- Drive local HC freight routes safely, including handling temperature-sensitive freight and completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
- Provide customer service and work with depot teams to load, unload and transport freight.
- During off-peak periods, assist with forklift and warehouse duties, order picking, stocktakes and general branch support.
Our Lindsay Rural depot in Mildura is seeking Local HC Drivers to join the team casually.

What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
- Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
During Off Peak Season and as required:
- Warehouse and forklift duties when driving duties are not required.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management
- General day-to-day branch duties and warehouse work
- Helping customers and supporting the team as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- Current HC licence
- Forklift License
- Proven commercial driving experience
- Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
- A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
- A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
