Retail Manager
- Develop and manage the retail section, including its product offering, customer experience and connection with the restaurant.
- Manage purchasing, suppliers, stock, inventory, merchandising and retail sales performance.

Our client is seeking a Retail Manager to join their team located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane Queensland.
As they continue to evolve and grow, they are expanding their offering with the development of an exciting new retail component alongside their restaurant operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the development and day-to-day management of the growing retail section.
- Help establish and execute the retail vision, product offering and overall customer experience.
- Drive retail sales through creative initiatives, promotions and customer engagement.
- Manage product selection, purchasing, stock levels and inventory control.
- Develop attractive and commercially effective merchandising and product displays.
- Ensure the retail space reflects the company brand identity and aesthetic.
- Identify new retail opportunities, products and potential supplier partnerships.
- Monitor retail sales performance, margins and profitability.
- Develop strategies to increase average transaction values and encourage cross-selling between the restaurant and retail offering.
- Create a seamless connection between the restaurant and retail experience
- Lead by example and maintain a strong presence across the retail operations.
- Work closely with ownership to develop and implement business strategies.
- Bring fresh ideas, creativity and commercial thinking to the business.
Requirements:
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification
- At least 12 months of relevant experience
- Previous experience in retail management
- Experience in retail operations, merchandising and driving sales
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- A genuine passion for customer experience and premium service
- A strong eye for detail, presentation and visual merchandising.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience managing stock, suppliers, purchasing and inventory.
- The ability to think creatively and identify new business opportunities.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and the confidence to take initiative.
- A positive personality and the ability to inspire those around you.
