SMO/MOSS - Rural Hospital Medicine - 2138 per day
- Provide locum medical cover at a small public hospital from 17 December 2026 to 4 January 2027.
- Work daily shifts from 0800 to 1700, with overnight and weekend on-call duties.
- Must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner; rates depend on level and experience.
Locum cover is required from 17 December 2026 - 4 January 2027.
Position Details:
- Shift times: 0800 - 1700 daily
- On-call: 1700 – 0800 daily and 0800 – 0800 on weekends
- SMO/GP/RG
- Rates are dependent on level and experience.
Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.
Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

The hospital is located in the Isaac region of Queensland. This is one of the youngest towns in the state, and whilst specifically created for miners and their families – the town has now grown and redeveloped into a region with rich charm and emanating warmth.
