DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER
- Support customers with daily living, personal care, medication and individual support plans at home and in the community.
- Encourage independence, social participation and engagement in customers’ interests and activities.
- Complete documentation and handovers while supporting customers with high support needs and high-intensity behaviours.
Disability Support Worker - Casual - Morning shifts & Sleepovers
📍 Location: Woongarrah 2259, Central Coast NSW
🚗 Must have a full NSW Drivers Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance
🧡 Personal care is required and you must be confident providing it
💼 2+ years experience with high intensity behaviours with high support needs

What you will be doing 🫶
• Supporting daily living skills including cooking, domestic tasks and social skills
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing
• Mentoring customers to explore interests, hobbies and cultural activities
• Assisting with community participation and recreation programs
• Administering medication safely and following individual support plans
• Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports
• Offering support in the home and the community
• Use your Complex Care experience to provide clinical plans where required

What you will bring 💼
• Availability for A Morning and short morning shifts, B Afternoon includes sleepover shifts
• Strong communication skills with verbal and non verbal customers
• Strong computer skills are essential for daily documentation, reporting, and communication
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and Workers Orientation Module Certificate
• Current First Aid HLTAID003 & CPR HLTAID009 Certificates
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are an advantage
