About Us

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With a solid network of branches nationally, we service a multitude of customers, including mining, construction and quarrying, with quality equipment and after sales support.

About the Opportunity

We have a new and exciting opportunity available for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our National Customer Care team. Based in Revesby, this position will make you the first point of contact for all inbound queries relating to pricing, parts, availability of stock and customer orders.

This role will be best suited for someone who has a high level of attention to detail as you will be entering essential information in an accurate and timely manner. If you have a genuine desire to understand customer needs and build valuable relationships, then we want to hear from you!

About You – the ideal candidate will have:

  • Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi’s number one priority
  • Relevant Experience - working within a high-volume, dynamic, call centre or customer service environment; exposure to high volume order processing or previous internal/counter sales experience will be a distinct advantage.
  • Customer Focus – A helpful and adaptable approach when understanding customer needs and providing reliable solutions to deliver Hitachi’s promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Analytical thinking – Creative problem solver with an innovative ability to navigate complex issues
  • Computer Literacy – Intermediate to advanced ability to navigate multiple systems and databases
  • Email Etiquette – the ability to professionally articulate and clearly communicate to internal and external customers
