Full job description

Your new company
Our client is a well-established industry leader in the overhead crane industry. Established in the 80's they are well set up to service the Mackay & Bowen Basin Region whilst providing their employees with stability and security in their jobs. They are actively seeking to expand their Mackay branch and require a Crane Technician willing to be trained to provide onsite services to their Mining clients.

Your new role
This role will see you completing maintenance, repairs & installs on overhead & jib cranes both in the workshop and onsite in the Mackay & Bowen Basin Region. You will be responsible for producing a quality install or repairs whilst providing exceptional service.

Majority of your time will be spent servicing multiple sites within the Bowen Basin so an ability to travel Monday to Thursday is essential.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will ideally hold the following qualifications/tickets:

  • Trade Qualified Electrician
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Standard 11 or Equivalent
  • Coal Board Medical - Or willing to obtain
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • EWP - Desirable
  • Basic hand tools

*Please note you will be required to complete a D&A test for this role if successful.
