An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction administrator to join a small, established team located centrally on the Gold Coast. The organisation is known for offering clients services in the commercial construction industry.
Your new role
As the Construction Administrator is required to assist this busy team on a temporary basis. This role will require the day to day administration support of a busy project. Your core duties will include managing monthly client reports, maintaining registers, contract administration, raising purchase orders, processing sub-contractor claims, making sure all sub contractor timesheets are received in a timely manner and assisting with defects in preparation of project completion. You may also be asked to perform duties such as; data entry, filing, typing, booking meetings and managing any site enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience within the construction industry and have recently worked in a multi-functioned administration role. You are flexible, adaptable and keen to progress in an all-round support capacity. A hard working attitude and strong communication skills means you will be confident liaising with all levels of seniority. Intermediate to advanced MS office skills are also required for you to succeed in this role.
