At Hays we continue to support our global and local clients within the Financial Services industry. We are seeking multiple collections consultants with Hardship experience to join our client in their Melbourne office located in the South Eastern Suburbs.

Your new role

  • Engage with your customers consulting with them regarding their outstanding payments and services
  • Empathise with your customers and be the ultimate decision maker on the solution you will provide to your customers
  • Co-ordinate payment arrangements where necessary
  • Strive to achieve and exceed KPIS whilst demonstrating exceptional call quality
  • Support your manager and wider team where necessary, ensuring you are demonstrating the organisation key values
  • Be an agile employee and demonstrate flexibility to assist in other areas of the business if required

What you'll need to succeed
Our client wants you to be successful in this role, therefore the skills you will require are:

  • Current or recent experience working in a collections position and/or Hardship role supporting customers
  • Experience working in a high volume, consultative phone based role navigating across various systems
  • A high achiever and autonomous worker who is seeking to challenge and develop their career with a global business
  • A team player and someone who is willing to help those around them
  • An agile worker who is willing to help in other areas of the business if required
  • A true professional in all aspects of their work behaviours
  • You must be a PR or Citizen to apply
