We are continuing to grow here at Cbus and as a result need a Cloud Platform Engineer (Security) to join the team, in this role you will deliver a consistent service experience through reliable design, configuration and operational maintenance of Security Platform solutions across on-premises and hybrid cloud (Azure / AWS) environments enabling CBUS in achieving its strategic business goals.
In this role you will Design, Build, Configure, Test, Operationalise and Maintain Cbus security platforms and the dependencies for hosting within Azure, AWS and Next DC (Melbourne and Sydney) points of presence.
You will be Tertiary qualified in IT or a related discipline or alternatively strong industry qualifications and/or vendor specific certifications including (for example) Microsoft Azure, AWS, Palo Alto, Cisco, Okta, CyberArk, Sailpoint and Mimecast.
You will have strong technical skills across Microsoft portfolio including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Server, Azure Security Centre, Azure Network Security Groups and Office365.
Strong technical understanding of network and internet-based technologies including internet Protocol, DNS, DHCP and BGP will also be advantageous.
Preferred experience in the technical design, implementation, configuration and administration of security platforms including Okta Identity and Access Management, Palo Alto technologies (Panorama, Next Generation Firewalls, RedLock, Cortex)AWS (IAM, Security Hub, Config, Guardduty, EC2, VPC, VPC Flowlogs and Security Groups) Azure Security Centre Qualys or Tenable vulnerability management services Advanced End Point Protection and Detection - Carbon Black and Red Cloak and Splunk will also help you be successful.
