Reference Number 18569 Position Title Clinical Nurse - Ophthalmology Employment Status Permanent Part Time Entity St Andrews War Memorial Hospital Enterprise Agreement NURSE - Nurses Enterprise Agreement - Registered Nurse - Level 2 Position Summary St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is inviting applications for a Permanent Part-Time Clinical Nurse position in their OphthalmologyUnit. About the Role: You will provide exceptional patient care whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Based on your experience, you will assist with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support. Yoursquo;ll be an experienced practitioner with clinical experience in operating theatres and a commitment to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Yoursquo;ll be an advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service. In addition, the successful candidate will present with: * Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent * Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/Midwifery * Minimum 2 years clinical experience in similar setting * Ability to work a 24/7 roster * Ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship * Strong commitment to own and the professional development of others * Studying towards or completion of a relevant graduate certificate or diploma -desirable Supporting you to support others: Wersquo;ve been caring for Queenslanderrsquo;s for over 65 years.
