Livefast Lifestyle Cafe, in the heart of the Grampians National Park is now looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our friendly, young and energetic team.

We have a position available for an enthusiastic and passionate cook/chef who enjoys working with fresh local produce and seasonally changing menus. Trading seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, our modern Australian menu features plenty of local and regional produce, which we endeavour to keep expanding on over time. Established in October 2010, Livefast Lifestyle Cafe has played a leading role in evolving the café and food culture in the Grampians region through our passion for excellent food, coffee and service. We are committed to constantly developing the products and services we offer to an ever growing tourist market. We are the locals café of choice. The best part? We do not trade evenings, so you will not be required to work evenings.

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of two or more years experience, and must be available most weekends. Duties required will include stock control and ordering, contributing to menu design, and day to day duties around meal preparation/service and hygiene.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody wishing to escape crowded city living for a regional escape while still further developing their career in the hospitality industry. Work hours and conditions are flexible based upon applicants experience and attitude. Our minimum starting salary begins at $55,000 super for a demi chef. For applicants wishing to take on more responsibility, training and career development, a sous chef position is available/negotiable. We also offer sponsorship and casual working holiday opportunities to successful applicants.
