Full job description

The Royal Hotel Daylesford is seeking a qualified full time Bistro Manager to manage our busy restaurant and café for dinner, lunch and coffee service. The Bistro Manager must have at least 3 years post qualification full time work experience. Salary range is $53,000 to $60,000 per annum.

The Bistro Manager will be responsible for:

  • planning menus with Chefs for dinner and lunch service
  • planning and organising special functions
  • arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
  • selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
  • take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
