This practice is seeking an experienced General Practitioner.
Bundaberg is a city in south-east Queensland, Australia, about 385 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. It is 15 kilometres inland from the coast and situated on the Burnett River. It is a major centre within the broader Wide Bay-Burnett geographical region.
Bundaberg is the business centre for a major sugar cane growing area, and is well known for its namesake export, Bundaberg Rum. The city is an important tourism gateway for inland national parks and the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef and resort islands. It is the seat of the Bundaberg Regional Council. 15 minutes from the City Centre are the lovely shores of Bargara Beach and the Coral Coast. Excellent water, transport and other infrastructure are in place. Bundaberg is a wonderful place to raise a family or retire.
Bundaberg has a population of approximately 100,000 and is a vital regional business hub for Queensland, boasting excellent shopping, sporting, cultural and tourism facilities and is fast becoming an ideal city to stage conferences and major events. With an established yet growing patient base the doctors need help with the increase in patients so you'll be earning your percentage in no time.
About the Practice:
The practice is a very busy family bulk billing medical centre situated. It has six consultation rooms, a procedure room, on-site parking and on-site pathology & pharmacy. The practice is fully accredited, computerised, privately owned and it provides comprehensive health care to all patient groups. Opening hours will be 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 8am to 12pm and public holidays to be advised depending on patient needs. The centre is closed Sundays.
This practice currently has four full time GPs, dedicated reception staff, two registered nurses who assist our doctors with Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments and two enrolled nurses who assist doctors with excisions, immunisations, wound dressings, ear syringing, removal of sutures and any other services that the Doctors request.
