About the Role …

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service and management skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting the restaurant
• Receiving payment from guests
• Running orders to guests
• Cleaning and organization of service associated areas
• Greeting and seating guests
• Taking guests orders and entering in the POS
• General waiting/service duties
• Training new and existing staff
• Supervision the restaurant operations including coordination of people, equipment and products for a service period
• Preparing beverage orders including non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages
• Assistant the chefs during peak times
• Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks
• Restock and replenish restaurant inventory and supplies
• Managing a cash register, handling cash and EFTPOS transactions comply with all food and beverage regulations

You should have good operational and business smarts and the ability to make good decisions. Some management experiences would be a plus but not essential (rosters, ordering, hiring and training team members, etc.).

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Manager and or 3 years as a Shift Manager in a high volume restaurant
• RSA certificate
