This Public Sector organisation is based in Townsville, with superb facilities. In this role you will have the opportunity to make strategic HR decisions in support of a dynamic team.
The assignment would suit a forward thinking individual who can work in both a strategic and operational capacity and who has significant HR & WHS management experience.
Your new role
Supporting the senior leadership team, you will be an integral part of the organisation for a contract period, starting January 2020, with funding for this role until June 2020.
This role will be diverse and you will be creating and implementing improvements in HR service delivery & assisting with managing organisational level HR change projects.
The areas you will focus on will include:
- OHS & Wellbeing Programs
- Organisational Culture & Change
- HR Policy Review
- Workforce Planning & Development
What you'll need to succeed
This will be a challenging role in an innovative government department. To gain an interview you will need a strong HR generalist experience in a complex organisation and have been in a management position. The client is open to considering any industry experience, but a passion for projects and adding value to an organisation is key, as it a positive, hard-working attitude.
You will be part of a small team and will need to be adaptable, flexible and be proactive at building relationships across the organisation. Previous experience in Strategic Workforce Plan implementation would be advantageous.
