We have created a new role for an Asset Engineer to assist in the overall management of rail infrastructure assets. Reporting to the Asset Reliability Lead, this role will be based at our Perth Airport head office within the Network Strategy and Long Term Planning department.
The tasks you will be involved with for this role are:
€¢ Working with asset information and data to report on asset condition and forecasting trends
€¢ Aid in the development of long term plans for the management of infrastructure;
€¢ Provide support to geometry recording vehicle as required;
€¢ Assist in the development of strategies for optimal asset performance
€¢ Aid the business and a diverse range of people in the understanding of asset management principles.
€¢ Contribute to 5 year capital infrastructure programs.
We would like you to have:
€¢ Degree qualified within Civil or Mechanical Engineering or another relevant discipline
€¢ Experience within engineering, assets or maintenance departments (track specific pref.)
€¢ Rail infrastructure experience
€¢ High level of analytic ability
€¢ Knowledge of Asset Management software such as RAMSYS (pref. but not required)
€¢ Enthusiasm and a curious mind.
