Situated to the East of CBD, they are home to various amenities and are accessible by car and public transport. Experiencing busy times within their Animal Management unit, they are looking for an exceptional Animal Management Officer to assist the team.
Your new role
There is an immediate opportunity for a suitably experienced Animal Management Officer to assist the team's busy workload on a temporary basis. Assisting the Animal Management team, your roles on a daily basis will include conducting cat and dog collections, barking dog investigations, park patrols - liaising with the general public in relation to unregistered animals conducting dog attack investigations, responding to complaints and general offences in relation to the Domestic Animals Act.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as previous experience working for a Local Council in an animal management role, you will possess excellent customer service skills. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate with local residents in a professional manner.
